The birth of
Smartphone iD
It began after an accident involving a friend of Émile Menetrey, who lost part of his mobility and struggled to obtain a compliant passport photo. This inspired the creation of Smartphone iD: an inclusive, simple and secure solution for creating official photos directly from a smartphone.

Taking a photo
From our app, you can take your passport photo in minutes. Our artificial intelligence automatically adjusts the background, lighting, and framing to create a format that meets official standards.
Control and verification
Each photo submitted via the app is reviewed by our experts in addition to AI. This dual human and technological check ensures official passport photos that comply with national and international standards.
Delivery and printing
Once validated, your passport photos are available by email and can also be delivered by post. When you use the app, you will receive an official photo ready to use for your applications.
